Oriana Power Limited has recently announced a major achievement in securing a 52 MW solar project valued at Rs. 247.88 crore from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. The project, to be executed under the EPC segment, will involve the construction of a ground-mounted solar power facility. Additionally, Oriana Power will handle activities such as CTU approval, transmission line construction, and provide O&M support for five years. This development underscores Oriana's expertise in operating large-scale solar projects efficiently. The company, with over 390 MW of cumulative capacity under execution, is also eyeing expansion into international markets, particularly in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Moreover, Oriana Power is venturing into the green hydrogen sector through a partnership with Splitwaters, a US-based hydrogen electrolyser manufacturer. Their joint aim is to establish a gigafactory for producing electrolysers and BOP modules, essential for green hydrogen and e-fuels production. The facility is projected to have an operational capacity of 500 MW by 2026, with plans for an additional 500 MW in 2027. Oriana Power's strategic moves in the renewable energy and green hydrogen sectors position the company for significant growth and a positive impact on the clean energy landscape.
