Penspen, a renowned energy consultancy, has secured a contract from Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) to conduct a hydrogen gap analysis for one of Europe's vital energy infrastructure projects. The assessment will focus on evaluating the feasibility of introducing hydrogen blends to TAP's gas pipeline, aligning with TAP's strategy to expand capacity for hydrogen and other renewable gases, aiming towards long-term sustainability and decarbonisation in the region. TAP, an 877km natural gas pipeline connecting Greece, Albania, and Italy, plays a significant role in Europe's energy security and supply diversification.
