Hy2gen Canada Inc, the Canadian subsidiary of global green hydrogen producer Hy2gen, has been chosen to receive a block of electricity, subject to an agreement with Hydro-Québec, for a green hydrogen and green ammonia production facility in Baie-Comeau. This decision is pivotal for the Courant project, enabling the start of Front-End-Engineering and bringing the final investment decision closer. The company plans to commence construction of the green ammonia plant in the latter part of 2026, targeting the first green ammonia production by 2029.
