Honda has unveiled the lease pricing for the 2025 Honda CR-V e, the first production plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle made in America. This zero-emissions compact CUV will be available for lease in California with options including a 3-year/36,000-mile plan for $459 per month, featuring $15,000 of hydrogen fuel credits. The CR-V e boasts a 270-mile EPA driving range and combines a U.S.-made fuel cell system with plug-in charging capability, allowing for up to 29 miles of EV driving in urban settings and quick hydrogen refueling for longer trips. The vehicle offers standard features like a 10.2-inch digital instrumentation display, 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™ compatibility, and sustainable materials like bio-based leather seat upholstery. Honda's experience with hydrogen fuel cell vehicles dates back to the introduction of the Honda FCX in 2002, and the CR-V e continues Honda's legacy of innovation in the realm of hydrogen fuel cell technology. The manufacturing of the CR-V e takes place at Honda's Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio, and features the second-generation Honda Fuel Cell Module co-developed with General Motors.
