Toyota has revealed the development of its third-generation hydrogen fuel cell system, designed specifically for the commercial sector. This new system, known as the 3rd Gen FC System, is set to be launched in 2026 and will offer durability comparable to diesel engines. Toyota plans to introduce this innovative technology in heavy commercial vehicles and passenger cars across various markets, such as Japan, Europe, North America, and China. The official unveiling of the system is scheduled for February 19 at the FC EXPO in Tokyo.
