The ACT Government has announced the allocation of $17 million in funding for energy innovation projects as part of the Energy Innovation Fund. Notably, New Frontier Technologies received a grant to develop a storage solution for hydrogen, while RenewMap will enhance their web-mapping platform to connect energy projects in Australia and New Zealand. The funding for these projects is sourced from industry commitments via the ACT's Renewables Reverse Auctions, which ensure a 100% renewable electricity supply. Minister Rattenbury highlighted the significance of the ACT's renewable energy sector and commended the recipients for their innovation.
