Fertiglobe has successfully secured a groundbreaking contract, with the support of ERM, to supply up to 397,000 tons of renewable ammonia to the European Union by 2033. This initiative marks a significant advancement in the renewable energy sector, as Fertiglobe will produce certified renewable ammonia from hydrogen generated solely from wind and solar power in Egypt. The contract, valued at up to EUR 397 million, was awarded by H2Global, a funding program supported by the German Ministry for the Economy and Climate.
