BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly, Jairam Thakur, commended the Central Government for approving multiple projects in Himachal Pradesh swiftly. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu lauded the progress of various energy initiatives in the state, emphasizing the development of a 1 MW Green Hydrogen Project at Nalagarh in Solan district and a 32 MW Solar Power Project at Pekhubela in Una district. The government is also considering promoting hydropower tourism to create employment opportunities for the local youth, with plans to create a policy and provide training for power project developers. The focus is on capitalizing on green energy sources and tourism to drive economic growth in Himachal Pradesh.
