The Avaada Group, known for its expertise in renewable energy and green hydrogen, has partnered with Casale, a global player in ammonia technology, to establish a state-of-the-art green ammonia plant in Gopalpur, Odisha. This plant, with a production capacity of 1,500 tons per day, will be powered entirely by renewable energy sources, ensuring a carbon-free production process. Casale will provide critical technology and engineering support for the project, contributing its advanced ammonia production expertise. Avaada's collaboration with Casale aligns with its recent agreement with the Odisha state government to invest ₹20,700 crore in various green energy initiatives, including floating solar projects and pumped hydro storage plants. Avaada's overarching goal is to achieve 11 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2026, a vision supported by significant funding from Brookfield's Energy Transition Fund and GPSC. This partnership not only signifies a significant step towards sustainable energy production but also showcases the commitment of both companies to environmental conservation and green technology advancement.
