During his visit to Visakhapatnam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched developmental projects worth Rs 2.08 lakh crore in Andhra Pradesh's East Coast. These projects aim to boost the region's economic growth and industrial capabilities. One of the key highlights was the inauguration of the NTPC Green Hydrogen Hub in Pudimadaka, set to produce 1,500 tonnes of green hydrogen daily and create 25,000 jobs, aligning with India's green energy goals. The visit also saw the inauguration of the Visakha Railway Zone, upgrades to railway lines, new stretches of national highways, and railway electrification projects, enhancing connectivity in the region. Additionally, the foundation stone for a bulk drug park in Anakapalli district was laid, along with the Krishnapatnam Industrial Hub, focusing on creating employment opportunities and improving infrastructure. PM Modi emphasized Andhra Pradesh's potential in futuristic technologies, aiming to position it as a significant contributor to India's economic growth. These initiatives are set to attract investments, generate employment, and strengthen the state's position in the industrial and green energy sectors.
