The event, attended by the Italian Ambassador to Chile and representatives from 26 companies, focused on opportunities in energy, environment, infrastructure, and transport sectors. The director of H2 Chile detailed the green hydrogen prospects, while the Ministry of Energy highlighted Chile's goal of zero emissions by 2050, offering more projects for private investment. Alessandra Marcarino, the director of the Ice office in Santiago, emphasized Chile's economic potential and the growing presence of Italian industry. Italian exports to Chile are expected to reach €2.23 billion in 2024, with a notable share in the machinery sector. This collaboration signifies a positive step towards sustainable development and economic growth in Chile through the promotion of green hydrogen initiatives.
