The Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy has signed a declaration of intent with the Bavarian government in Germany to strengthen their partnership in the hydrogen sector. This collaboration is geared towards exploring opportunities for cooperation in hydrogen trade, with a specific focus on production potentials and expanding hydrogen's logistical pathways. Minister Mahmoud Esmat highlighted that the partnership will cover advancements in hydrogen technologies, market development, and research on hydrogen production chains, emphasizing the use of renewable energy sources to produce green hydrogen. The agreement was celebrated as a step forward in Egypt's national strategy for low-carbon hydrogen production, with both countries aiming to exchange knowledge and strengthen institutional ties.
