TotalEnergies, EREN Group, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, and A.P. Møller Capital have initiated a groundbreaking green hydrogen project in Morocco. The project, named Chbika, is set to harness 1 GW of onshore solar and wind capacities to produce green hydrogen and green ammonia for export to Europe. The partnership involves the development of renewable energy sources and infrastructure necessary for production. This collaboration highlights Morocco's substantial renewable energy potential and its pivotal role in becoming a key player in Europe's sustainability goals.
