H2 Mobility Deutschland and Lhyfe have signed a significant five-year agreement for the distribution of green hydrogen in Germany. The deal will see over 1,200 tons of green hydrogen supplied, sourced from Lhyfe's upcoming plant in Schwäbisch Gmünd, known as the largest green hydrogen production facility in Baden-Württemberg. The initial hydrogen deliveries will be utilized at four fuel stations operated by H2 Mobility, with plans to expand throughout the region. Both companies are enthusiastic about the partnership, with Lhyfe's Head of Central and Eastern Europe highlighting the shared goal of making green hydrogen widely available for transportation. H2 Mobility aims to have green hydrogen accessible across its entire network by 2028, with Lhyfe's support propelling them towards this objective. The current infrastructure in Germany allows passenger vehicles to refuel at 700 bar and buses/trucks at 350 bar at designated H2 Mobility stations. With Lhyfe's focus on producing green hydrogen through water electrolysis powered by renewable sources, the collaboration signifies a positive step towards sustainable and eco-friendly mobility solutions.
