Honeywell introduced Honeywell Protonium™, a new suite of AI and machine learning technologies designed to enhance green hydrogen production efficiency at Aternium's Mid-Atlantic Clean Hydrogen Hub (MACH2). The Protonium™ technology aims to improve the cost-effectiveness, scalability, and sustainability of hydrogen production by addressing challenges like high production costs, carbon intensity reduction, and power intermittency. Through predictive control algorithms, the technology enhances electrolysis efficiency and plant design, ultimately reshaping the green hydrogen landscape. Aternium's CEO, Andrew Cottone, expressed confidence in Honeywell's innovative solutions to help achieve their mission of producing clean hydrogen safely while creating value for communities and investors.
