Hyfluence Systems has secured a contract to supply hydrogen refueling infrastructure to Lewis County Transit in Washington, USA. The deployment aims to support the initial use of hydrogen buses in Lewis County. Hyfluence will deliver a self-contained hydrogen fueling station specifically designed for fleet deployments, ensuring compliance with the latest SAE J2601-5 standard for safe high-speed fueling. The project involves a partnership with Chart Industries and Howden to provide essential compression components for efficient fueling. The SAE Fuel Cell Standards Committee has been instrumental in developing protocols to facilitate the safe and quick fueling of hydrogen vehicles. The equipment will be manufactured in Hyfluence's Vancouver facility in Canada and is scheduled for deployment in early 2025, positioning Lewis County Transit for a sustainable and advanced transportation solution.
