A specialized Jordanian team, headed by Ya'qoub Marar from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, visited the Netherlands and Belgium to explore innovative practices in green hydrogen production. Marar highlighted Jordan's strategic interest in green hydrogen, underlining the country's potential in leveraging this emerging industry for sustainable energy development. Representatives from key Jordanian ministries and regulatory bodies joined the delegation, showcasing a collaborative effort to assess the feasibility and implementation of green hydrogen initiatives within Jordan. The visit included tours to hydrogen export terminals and technology assessment centers critical to green hydrogen production and distribution. This initiative aligns with the Netherlands and Belgium's efforts to advance green hydrogen projects, contributing to their goals of carbon neutrality and energy sustainability.
