President Nangolo Mbumba of Namibia commended the country's young population for their pivotal role in advancing the green hydrogen revolution. During the inauguration of the Daures Green Hydrogen Agriculture Facility in Swakopmund, Mbumba highlighted the youth's dedication and innovative projects, positioning Namibia as a significant player in the global green energy sector. The Daures Green Hydrogen Village, a large-scale project integrating various renewable energy sources, aims to enhance food security, support agriculture, and promote eco-friendly practices like horticulture and tourism. The facility is structured in phases, focusing on green fertiliser and ammonia production for both local consumption and international export. President Mbumba expressed gratitude towards the youth for their active involvement and also recognized the investors who showed confidence in Namibia. He stressed the importance of unity, national pride, and continuous innovation, urging the youth to create sustainable developments for a prosperous future. The project in Daures constituency signifies a transformative approach to agriculture and energy production, with hydrogen playing a crucial role in Namibia's transition to renewable energy.
