The Green Hydrogen Mobility Project at Leh, situated at 3650m MSL, is the world's highest altitude project of its kind, designed to function in low density air and sub-zero temperatures. The filling station will reduce carbon emissions by 350 MT/year and contribute 230 MT/year of oxygen, equivalent to planting 13,000 trees annually. NTPC, India's largest integrated power utility, is actively working towards achieving the country's Net Zero Target by 2070 by expanding its hydrogen mobility projects and green hydrogen technologies.
