The Minister of Industry and Tourism of Spain, Jordi Hereu, met with the South Korean ambassador, Lim Soosuk, in Madrid to strengthen the economic cooperation between the two countries. The Spain-Korea Joint Commission meeting in November 2024 further solidified the commitment to economic and trade cooperation. Minister Hereu emphasized the mutual interest in strategic sectors like renewable energy, automotive, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and green hydrogen.
