TotalEnergies SE and EREN Groupe's joint venture, TE H2, in collaboration with VERBUND and the Republic of Tunisia, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop the H2 Notos project. This project aims to produce green hydrogen using electrolysers powered by onshore wind and solar projects, with desalinated sea water supply. The goal is to export 200,000 tons of green hydrogen annually initially, with plans to expand to one million tons per year, leveraging the SoutH2 Corridor to access the European market.
