Petron will utilize 320 MW of Verdagy's eDynamic® electrolyzers to produce over 45 kilo tons per annum (KTA) of green hydrogen for their first biorefinery project, with a substantial CO2e reduction expected. The collaboration aims to reduce carbon emissions by integrating green hydrogen into biorefinery processes for the production of SAF, renewable diesel, and e-Methanol. Petron's CEO, Yogi Sarin, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the importance of green hydrogen technology in achieving sustainability goals. The companies are working on several biorefinery projects to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), e-Methanol, and bio-chemicals, demonstrating a joint effort to advance green technologies.
