In a significant development for green hydrogen production, H-TEC Systems, an electrolyzer supplier, is set to deliver three ME450 PEM products to Helen Oy's 3MW hydrogen production plant in Finland. This collaboration aims to leverage H-TEC's electrolysis expertise and MAN Energy Solutions' engineering capabilities to enhance green hydrogen production. The plant, located near Helsinki's district heating network and Vuosaari Harbour, will generate up to 1,350kg of green hydrogen daily using renewable electricity. The initiative underscores the partnership's commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions. MAN Energy Solutions will manage the engineering, procurement, and construction of the production plant, emphasizing the pivotal role of industrial production in meeting the growing demand for green hydrogen efficiently. The project also highlights the importance of utilizing waste heat from the production process, integrating it into Helen Oy's district heating network for additional sustainability.
