Vauxhall has made a significant move in the automotive industry by revealing the prices and specifications of its hydrogen-powered Movano van. This van houses an electric motor producing 147bhp and 410Nm of torque, along with a fuel cell generating up to 60bhp. The vehicle is equipped with four high-pressure tanks capable of storing 7kg of hydrogen, allowing it to cover an impressive 311 miles between fill-ups. In addition, the van features an 11kWh lithium-ion battery pack for enhanced acceleration, which can be charged in 90 minutes from an 11kW AC charger. The 'Prime' trim level includes a state-of-the-art multimedia navigation system, a 10-inch touchscreen, integrated TomTom sat nav, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB connectors, and a seven-inch digital instrument cluster. The interior boasts luxurious features like automatic air conditioning, keyless entry and go, and an electronic parking brake. With pricing starting at £66,450, excluding VAT and after the plug-in van grant, customers have the option of choosing between two body styles.
