Haffner Energy, headquartered in France, has announced a significant development in the field of renewable energy with the signing of a crucial contract by H2 bois SA for the establishment of a biomass-based hydrogen, electricity, and biochar production plant in Switzerland. The contract signifies a vital step towards the realization of H2 bois SA's project in Glovelier, Switzerland, aimed at providing sustainable energy solutions. The plant, set to be operational by July 2026, is projected to have the capacity to produce 30 kg/h of hydrogen, with a potential total order value reaching up to €8.3 million. This initiative marks a positive stride towards decarbonizing energy consumption and fostering green technology. The produced hydrogen will cater to industrial and mobility needs, while the biochar generated as a by-product will find utility in compost enrichment.
