Route 65, from Marina Mall to Shams Boutik in Al Reem Island, will soon witness the smooth glide of these eco-friendly buses, marking the beginning of a green revolution in the city's transportation system. Collaborating with international bodies and manufacturers, Abu Dhabi is prioritizing the adoption of clean energy technologies, emphasizing hydrogen and electric power as essential components for a greener future. Moreover, the programme goes beyond introducing green buses; it includes specialized training programs to equip locals with the skills needed to maintain and operate hydrogen and electric buses.
