Kazakh and German scientists recently convened at Yessenov University to advance educational programs in energy and logistics as part of the Aktanten project. This joint initiative involving The German-Kazakh Institute for Sustainable Engineering (KINI), HAW Hamburg, TU Berlin, and TU Darmstadt focuses on developing master's programs in hydrogen energy and transportation while enhancing opportunities for scientific research. Professor Hans-Liudger Dienel highlighted the program's objective of training specialists in hydrogen technologies. Yessenov University will host the training, offering students international research opportunities and internships in Germany. The meeting also explored a project concerning maritime infrastructure and marine operations management in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea, emphasizing energy efficiency and new technology utilization. Berik Akhmetov, President of Yessenov University, praised KINI's dual commitment to education and research, foreseeing the project's role in establishing an international scientific and educational hub in Kazakhstan.
