The partnership between TEEMO and ZESTAs aims to focus on green hydrogen production, bunkering infrastructure development, and vessel innovation, all while incorporating local training programs to enhance expertise in the field. By leveraging Tanzania's renewable energy potential and strategic maritime location, the initiative seeks to play a pivotal role in the global decarbonization of the shipping industry. ZESTAs' partnership with a German organization specialized in hydrogen project development underscores the commitment to ensuring the project's success through effective communication and strict timeline adherence. Madadh MacLaine, Secretary-General of ZESTAs, advocates for green hydrogen as the optimal zero-emission and pollution-free fuel for the shipping sector.
