The UTM Centre of Hydrogen Energy (CHE) collaborated with TNB Integrated Learning Solutions (TNB ILSAS) to conduct a two-day Ammonia Production Training Course for executives from Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. The sessions aimed to enhance the understanding of ammonia production technologies for industrial applications, emphasizing the energy transition phase. Executives from various departments participated, showing keen interest and commitment to learning new methods for a sustainable future. The training included comprehensive content on production techniques, storage methods, emerging trends, and safety protocols, delivered by distinguished trainers. Participants actively engaged in discussions and displayed enthusiasm throughout the sessions, reflecting a shared goal towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 as per Malaysia's objectives. The collaboration between UTM and TNB signifies a strengthened partnership focusing on sustainable energy initiatives. TNB plans to integrate insights from the training into its industrial strategy, paving the way for future advancements in ammonia production. The training concluded with a group photo session, symbolizing the knowledge gained and the collaborative efforts towards promoting sustainable energy technologies in Malaysia.
