Minister for Energy and Resources, Lily D'Ambrosio, officially unveiled the Hycel Hydrogen Technology Hub at Deakin University in Warrnambool, Victoria. The 4.5-hectare precinct, in partnership with Southwest TAFE, features advanced laboratories and community spaces, aiming to accelerate the development of hydrogen technologies in the region. The primary focus of the Hub will be on fuel cell development for various modes of transport, including heavy vehicles, trains, and boats. Minister D'Ambrosio highlighted the critical role of the Hub in advancing Victoria's renewable hydrogen sector, leading to job creation and economic growth.
