Odisha signed eight memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with the Singapore government in key sectors such as green hydrogen, petrochemicals, fintech, semiconductors, and skill development. The agreements were made ahead of the Odisha Investor Summit in Bhubaneswar, where Singapore will be the first country partner. Various MoUs were signed to establish industrial parks, a Green Hydrogen Corridor, and new cities in Odisha. The partnership also focuses on skill development in areas like technology, FinTech, and semiconductor sectors, with plans to introduce new courses and centers to enhance workforce capabilities. Initiatives like the InsureTech Hub aim to support India's goal of 'Insurance for All' by 2047, promoting financial security and economic empowerment. The collaboration between Odisha and Singapore seeks to drive innovation, attract investment, and advance technological advancements to fuel economic growth and development.
