The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry is hosting the Omani-Indian Business Forum in Muscat to bolster economic cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India. Scheduled to take place on Sunday, the forum will concentrate on crucial sectors like renewable energy, hydrogen, real estate development, future cities, food security, and tourism. Discussions will revolve around joint investment opportunities, featuring successful bilateral investment models. Additionally, there will be a focus on sharing Indian experiences in instant payments to enhance financial inclusion. Dr. Abdullah bin Masoud Al Harthi highlighted the forum as a significant stride in strengthening economic ties between the two nations, emphasizing private sector collaboration. The event will showcase investment projects geared towards sustainable economic development and efforts to enhance infrastructure and create a competitive investment environment, with presentations from key entities like the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, and the Invest in Oman Hall.
