Klaipėda Port in Lithuania has announced a significant investment of €308 million over the next four years to enhance its infrastructure, maritime business value creation, and sustainability efforts. The goal is to establish the port as the leading maritime transport hub in the region, capable of addressing market demands and environmental concerns. Part of this investment will be directed towards offshore wind energy infrastructure and green hydrogen production, aligning with the port's commitment to sustainable practices and renewable energy sources. Algis Latakas, the director general of Klaipėda Port Authority, emphasized the importance of building a progressive and sustainable future for the port.
