BGR Tech, a subsidiary of Prenora in India, has partnered with South Korea's Elchemtech to introduce Advanced Proton Exchange Membrane Water Electrolyser (PEMWE) technology in India. This collaboration involves Elchemtech supplying its efficient PEM electrolysers to be integrated with BGR Tech's Balance of Plant (BoP) systems for various hydrogen projects. The companies are also considering options for manufacturing or assembling PEM stacks within India. Elchemtech's H2Lyser© PEMWE technology, known for its high efficiency and compact design, will play a crucial role in this joint initiative. BGR Tech plans to incorporate key components such as ultrapure water treatment, gas separation, hydrogen purification, oxygen purification, and low-pressure storage into modular skid configurations. This partnership is in line with India's commitment to promoting clean energy and driving advancements in hydrogen production and sustainability.
