EWE and NEUMAN & ESSER are advancing a major hydrogen storage project in Northern Germany, specifically in the Wesermarsch region. NEUMAN & ESSER will supply EWE with compressors for the conversion of a natural gas cavern into a large-scale hydrogen storage facility by 2027. The 'Clean Hydrogen Coastline' project integrates production, storage, transportation, and use of green hydrogen, aligning with political objectives for a sustainable energy transition.
