Gensol Engineering, in partnership with Matrix Gas, is at the forefront of establishing India's first Green Hydrogen Valley project in Pune, Maharashtra. This initiative aims to supply green hydrogen to the specialty chemical sector for 20 years, promoting a sustainable and eco-friendly economy. The project, based on Build Own and Operate (BOO) model through electrolysis, signifies a significant step towards advancing the Green Hydrogen economy in the country. Anmol Jaggi, Managing Director of Gensol Engineering, highlighted the commitment to provide round-the-clock Green Hydrogen to Pune's specialty chemical sector. Chirag Kotecha, Whole-time Director at Matrix Gas and Renewables, emphasized the competitive tender process that led to them being selected as the best bidder for this green initiative. Furthermore, Gensol Engineering's recent accomplishments include securing India's first bio-hydrogen project, entering the US market, and holding a substantial solar project portfolio. The collaboration between Gensol and Matrix, both having common promoters, extends beyond Green Hydrogen to encompass Green Steel and Green Ammonia domains. This synergy aims to leverage their expertise and skills in the green energy sector. Gensol Engineering's involvement in renewables is evident through their projects like establishing standalone battery energy storage systems and securing significant solar orders, reflecting a growing commitment towards sustainable energy solutions.
