Around 130 stakeholders in Hamburg, organized into seven clusters, participated in a survey by KLIMAready to provide insights on sustainability and transformation needs. The project, supported by the EU, assists organizations in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region with energy transformation, climate adaptation, and climate resilience. Companies in Hamburg are embracing sustainability, with initiatives like producing green hydrogen and winning sustainability prizes. The survey highlighted concerns about climate change, energy transformation, and sustainability, with a focus on renewable energy and sustainable technology. Key challenges identified include additional workload, regulatory uncertainty, and funding costs, with a call for support in information, networking, and renewable energy usage. KLIMAready project partners are planning cluster bridges to address climate-friendly measures and promote sustainable corporate development, funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the City of Hamburg.
