HyTerra has initiated drilling activities at the Sue Duroche 3 Well located in its Nemaha hydrogen and helium project in Kansas, USA. The company's 12-month exploration program aims to tap into the potential of natural white hydrogen, which is known for its lower production costs and reduced carbon emissions compared to man-made hydrogen. Progress on the well has been promising, with the drilling already surpassing 2000ft and remaining on schedule and budget. Through collaboration with Schlumberger, a wireline program will be conducted to assess reservoir rock quality. The company has significantly expanded its lease acreage in preparation for future exploration activities. Additionally, HyTerra is actively acquiring seismic data to better understand the subsurface geology and identify potential drilling locations for the latter half of 2025.
