Linde, an industrial gases company, has unveiled a groundbreaking $2 billion investment plan to construct a world-scale integrated clean hydrogen and atmospheric gases facility in Alberta. This initiative stems from a long-term agreement with Dow to supply clean hydrogen for the Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero project. The facility will utilize autothermal reforming and Linde's HISORP carbon capture technology to produce clean hydrogen and capture over 2 million metric tons of CO2 annually, significantly supporting environmental sustainability. Upon its completion in 2028, the Alberta complex will be Canada's largest clean hydrogen production facility and one of the global leaders in the sector.
