Nel Hydrogen US, a subsidiary of Nel ASA, has received a purchase order for a 2.5 MW containerized PEM unit for the Aberdeen Hydrogen Hub project in Aberdeen, Scotland. This project, aimed at green hydrogen production, storage, and distribution, is a joint venture between bp, Aberdeen City Council, and Hydrasun. Hydrasun, known for its integrated fluid transfer solutions, was awarded the contract for designing and integrating the hydrogen refueling station and associated infrastructure. Nel ASA's President and CEO expressed excitement about the collaboration with Hydrasun and the opportunity to provide reliable electrolyser equipment for the project.
