The government has designated a 10,316 hectares Wind Hydrogen Hub Land Reserve for North Atlantic Refining Limited (NARL) in a move supported by Industry Minister Andrew Parsons. This initiative marks the sixth approval granted for wind hydrogen projects, with these lands accounting for less than two per cent of the existing wind energy reserves. The reserved crown lands will be allocated to NARL for 18 months or until the company formally requests the lands from the Department of Fisheries, Forestry, and Agriculture.
