Next Hydrogen Solutions Inc. has announced a cooperation agreement with Sungrow Hydrogen to expedite the commercialization and scale-up of its water electrolysis technology. By utilizing Sungrow Hydrogen's extensive manufacturing facility, Next Hydrogen plans to fulfill large volume orders from 2026 onwards while retaining control over their Intellectual Property and electrolyzer design. This collaboration will also enhance supply chain efficiency by incorporating Balance of Plant systems. The partnership focuses on co-development and cross-selling opportunities to provide green hydrogen solutions for various industries seeking decarbonization. Next Hydrogen will continue its research and development efforts in Canada while considering expanding its manufacturing presence in North America to meet market demands. By combining expertise, both companies aim to accelerate the transition to green hydrogen and support global clean energy goals.
