Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day tour to Andhra Pradesh and Odisha on 8th and 9th January 2025. In Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the NTPC Green Energy Limited Green Hydrogen Hub Project at Pudimadaka, a significant step towards green energy and sustainable future. This project, with an investment of approximately ₹1,85,000 Crore, will house one of India's largest integrated green hydrogen production facilities, targeting export markets. Additionally, various railway and road projects worth over Rs. 19,500 crore will be inaugurated, aiming to improve regional connectivity and economic growth.
Furthermore, PM Modi will lay the foundation for the Bulk Drug Park at Nakkapalli, set to create numerous jobs and boost economic growth in the pharmaceutical sector. The Krishnapatnam Industrial Area in Tirupati District will also see the foundation stone being laid, attracting substantial manufacturing investments and creating around 1 lakh jobs.
In Odisha, the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention will be inaugurated by PM Modi, focusing on the diaspora's contributions. The event's theme, 'Diaspora’s Contribution to a Viksit Bharat,' highlights the significant role of the Indian diaspora. PM Modi will also flag-off the Pravasi Bharatiya Express, a special Tourist Train for the Indian diaspora, showcasing tourism and religious destinations in India under the Pravasi Teertha Darshan Yojana.
