Welspun Corp Ltd has signed an agreement with Saudi Aramco to set up a Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) line pipe manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia's Dammam 3rd Industrial City. The facility, expected to start operations by mid-2026, will have an annual production capacity of 350,000 MT. Welspun Corp, with a long-standing partnership with Saudi Aramco, will be contributing to various oil and gas pipeline projects in the Kingdom through this new endeavor. The manufacturing facility is designed to support not only oil and gas projects but also hydrogen and CCUS developments. This move underlines the commitment of both companies to advance infrastructure and enhance capabilities in the energy sector. By expanding their manufacturing capacity, Welspun Corp aims to meet the growing demands of Saudi Aramco's current and future projects, ensuring the supply of high-quality line pipes for the transmission of different resources.
