Abu Dhabi's Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has signed an agreement with Dubai-based Broaden Energy to establish a cutting-edge hydrogen equipment manufacturing complex in Abu Dhabi. Valued at AED 1 billion ($272 million), this complex will mark the first of its kind in the region. The primary goal of this initiative is to position the complex as a leading producer of green hydrogen globally by 2031, with an ambitious output target of 1.4 million tons per year. By focusing on green hydrogen production, the project will significantly contribute to advancing sustainability efforts in Abu Dhabi and promoting a cleaner energy ecosystem.
