Hydrogen Future Industries plc (HFI) recently provided updates on its technology development and feasibility activities, coupled with board changes. The Company faced delays in testing its 1-metre diameter wind turbine prototype in Montana due to control unit issues, but aims to optimize testing during the windier winter months. CEO Tim Blake reviewed testing facilities and acquired wastewater for electrolysis feedstock analysis. Moreover, HFI partnered with Schneider Electric for software support in the feasibility study at mining sites, enhancing the system's economic benefits. In California, the Company's electrolyser achieved over 97% efficiency, driving the development of a commercial-scale version without expensive platinum metals. Additionally, Mr Neil Ritson was appointed as the new Executive Chairman, overseeing board transitions as Mr Daniel Maling moved to a Non-Executive Director role. HFI's wind turbine design aims for superior energy generation with lower costs and unit CAPEX. Despite challenges, the Company remains positive about attracting investments and fulfilling the growing demand for green hydrogen in the market.
