EDF Renewables UK and Hynamics, a subsidiary of EDF Group, have chosen ITM Power to execute an engineering package for Phase 1 of the Tees Green Hydrogen project in the UK. This project, a part of the UK's Hydrogen Allocation Round 1 and funded by the UK government's Net Zero Hydrogen Fund, aims to integrate four NEPTUNE II units into the plant to produce green hydrogen. The collaboration between ITM Power, EDF Renewables, and Hynamics is aimed at boosting local industry and transport by providing green hydrogen to support decarbonisation efforts and reduce industrial pollution. ITM Power previously announced a capacity reservation for four NEPTUNE II units, which will play a key role in the project's success. Dennis Schulz, CEO of ITM Power, expressed gratitude for being selected and is looking forward to working closely with EDF Renewables and Hynamics to achieve the project's goals.
