Reliance Industries Ltd has commenced production at its massive solar module facility, featuring a gigawatt-scale line producing HJT panels with an output of up to 720 Wp. The facility, built for a 10 GW capacity and expandable to 20 GW, is fully vertically integrated, covering the entire production chain from polysilicon to panels. This integration, coupled with advanced technology, will make the modules competitive and cost-effective. Reliance is also venturing into battery manufacturing, aiming for 30 GW capability, and green hydrogen production in Kandla. The company's green hydrogen ecosystem will be powered by its solar generation and battery storage, emphasizing sustainability and clean energy.
