South Korea and the Czech Republic conducted a high-level bilateral supply chain and energy dialogue in Seoul to enhance cooperation in trade, eco-friendly energy, and nuclear power plants. The two ministers discussed expanding collaboration in trade, supply chain, advanced industries, carbon-free energy, and nuclear power plants. They evaluated negotiations for a South Korean consortium to build two nuclear plants in Czech's Dukovany region. The Czech minister expressed optimism about reaching a final agreement soon, highlighting the historic investment the project represents. Both sides also planned to work on R&D projects, talent development for the nuclear energy sector, and cooperation in clean hydrogen energy technologies. Additionally, they signed an MoU for cooperation in the semiconductor industry and agreed to joint efforts in developing hydrogen energy technologies.
