Air Liquide recently disclosed its financial results for FY2024, revealing a revenue of €27.06 billion, which represented a slight decline of 2.1% compared to the previous financial year. Despite this decrease, the company celebrated surpassing its CO2 emission reduction target for the year. Air Liquide's focus on sustainability was further highlighted through various initiatives in the hydrogen sector. The company announced a collaboration with TotalEnergies to work on projects in the Netherlands aimed at producing around 45,000 metric tons per year of green hydrogen. Additionally, Air Liquide secured a substantial €110 million grant from the European Innovation Fund to advance its ENHANCE project, focusing on low-carbon hydrogen production from ammonia. Furthermore, the company is investing in renewable hydrogen infrastructure by constructing a hydrogen electrolyser at TotalEnergies' La Mède renewable fuel refinery. Another €50 million investment is allocated to establish a new hydrogen packaging and delivery supply chain to refuelling stations along the Seine Axis. These strategic moves demonstrate Air Liquide's strong commitment to the hydrogen market and sustainable energy solutions, positioning itself as a key player in the transition towards a greener and low-carbon economy.
